👉 The Scoop – Rafael began his career at 18 cutting ads from newspapers in Argentina. His love of the craft, hard work and deep thinking soon propelled him to Director of Planning of Pragma/FCB in Buenos Aires and his current position at Discovery Warner.

👉 Decisive Moment #1 – While studying advertising, he got the opportunity to work at Pragma/FCB, a large multinational. So, 2 days after finishing classes, he started working. And the rest is history. Rafa worked his way up from cutting ads to Director of Strategic Planning for Warner Latin America.

👉 Unexpected change or event – There’s been too many. Changes in technology, changes in media, changes in the complexity of planning. And now, in working for the media, changes in POV. And now that he is running 7 countries for Warner, the changes get more complex every time.

👉 What did he do? – Rafa’s go-to place is the process. The process that forces you to consider all the information, understand the local cultures and ask the right questions.

👉 About older workers – It is a matter of talent, wisdom and profile match to the task. Older workers have accumulated more talent and wisdom.
