Redefining reinvention

Let’s skip to the money shot. Speaking about “reinvention”… “Well, you know the old Mission Impossible TV show where he was given a mission and he would open up his book and he would see the different people that he would pick for those skills.

So that's the way I sort of think about it (reinvention) as well. What skills do I need to bring to bear? What skills are required? Writing? Okay, I can do that. Promotion? I know that. Marketing? Social media? I've done that.”

So maybe we are not really reinventing ourselves… we are bubbling up the skills we need to accomplish the task at hand. But we have all these skills in us. That is certainly a great way to look at life and avoid the stress normally associated with reinvention!
